晋中科学室、储藏室、圣约翰救伤队活动室、红新月会活动室一瞬间化为乌有。

The beginning of 1980 marks a new life for Kuching High School St. John Ambulance. This year our division has recruited about 40 new members to make up a total of 80 members. Comprising 3 troops, each troop is under a troop leader and two patrol leaders.
We have our general meeting every Saturday afternoon in our school. During the meeting lectures are conducted, members learnt First-aid, Nursing, Footdrill, Camping, Signalling, Nature History of St. John and so on.
At the beginning of this year, we had our first term Training-camp held at the school compound. During that time, our new members were trained to acquire various knowledge and took part in various activities. During second term, 14 members from our division joined the Inter-unit Uniform Combine Camp held at Matang area. Our members did their best in order to win the various competition which were organised. During their stay there, they have also foster a closer, and make a closer relationship with other uniform members.
During the badminton friendly match organised by our Head-quarter, our division emerged Champion in both the boys and girls section. Nursing and First-aid examinationwere conducted by our Head-quarter nursing staff and Doctor for our members recently.
Lastly, on behalf of our division, I would like to take this opportunityto thank our patron, adviser, crop-superintendent, teacher-in-charge, officers, com¬mittee members and those who have assisted and contributed to our division in one way or another. To each and every St. John. Ambulance members, do bear in mind Ito strive for more glory and for "THE SERVICE OF MANKIND".
